Reader Varin writes in with the following tale:

"In Northwest Indiana there was an abandoned old school grounds/campground with an urban myth attached to it. On the property were a school, cafeteria/rec center, a gym, housing and a lake. It was supposedly used for a kids' campground getaway in the summer. The place looks as if it were abandoned instantly. Food is still in the pantry, clothes are still in the drawers. The myth is that the school's headmaster went crazy one day a killed all the children - and not in any normal sort of killing way. He forced the children into the school and tortured them in the nurse's office using medical equipment. I have tons of pictures of the creepy place, but unfortunately it was recently torn down to build apartment complexes. The story often circulated on the radio around Halloween and tons of myth and ghost hunters would flock to the area."
