A woman bought a luxurious new down comforter at a rock-bottom price at the local flea market. Pleased with her new acquisition, that night she placed it on her bed and snuggled underneath to go to sleep. A short while later, to her consternation, the comforter fell off the bed onto the floor. She replaced it, only to have it fall off again. The next morning she opened a seam to check the filling. Instead of down, the duvet was stuffed with chicken feathers, many of which still had chunks of chicken attached to them. Maggots had infested the whole mess, and their squirming was what caused the blanket to wriggle off the bed.
